Election Article
Are you involved in the Club? Do you like knowing what is going on? Do you have ideas on making the club better? If so, then you might be just the person we need. April 7th is Election Night and we are looking for a few good men/women to run for the Board. If you’ve been in the Club for a while, have been a trip or event leader, have been on committees and perhaps have even been a chairperson, this is a great way to give back. It is also a great way to meet more people in the club, learn more about the club and how it operates and build your resume! Organizations like Columbus Ski Club thrive because of active volunteers. We need creative, hard working people who are willing to give of themselves to make the Club better. The Board always needs refreshing new ideas.
Give one of the Board members a call or email me, Bev Groth - Secretary, bg_oh1234@yahoo.com for a Board application or find it on the website in the Club Overview/Club Forms, Documents & Policies section and click on the Board Member Sign-up Form. If you are interested, do not hesitate because April will be here before you know it! We need your information to put in the Track and on the website. Applications for the Board must be received by the Secretary by March 31, 2010 to be included on the ballot.
The Elections are to be held the same night as the Softball teams are posted, Wednesday, April 7, 2010.
