Just in time for Christmas! We will be meeting at The Candle Lab in downtown Worthington. We get the store to ourselves for the night. Each person can... pour their own candle, mixing any of the 120+ fragrance oils together to create their own custom candle. The candles combine all natural soy-based wax, cotton paper wicks, and pure fragrance oils to make a long-lasting and pure-burning candle. The candles will burn evenly and cleanly for up to 60 hours, filling your home with fragrance from beginning to end. They make perfect favors for weddings and baby showers and are the perfect gift for the holidays, birthdays, anniversaries or yourself!

The Holiday Fragrances are Candy Cane, Christmas Tree, First Snow, Frankincense, Gingerbread, Hazelnut, Hot Cocoa, Mistletoe, Oatmeal Cookie, Santa's Pipe, White Christmas, and Winter Romance. Just for the Holiday season. Come in for a memorable evening and leave with your own custom candle.

And while you're waiting for your candle to set up, we will head next door to The House Wines of Worthington and enjoy a glass or two. Your $30 includes: a lifetime membership to The Candle Lab, 1 8oz candle, and a glass or two of wine. If you should want more than one candle, you may purchase extras on your own. Your candles will be ready for take home that very evening. No waiting to get them back and hoping it is the one you made.

The Funnybone 24th Annual Christmas Comedy Benefit
Event Date: Dec. 21, 2009
Sign-Up Dates: Nov 18, Dec 2, 2009 (tickets will likely be all sold at the Nov date)
Location: The Funnybone Comedy Club at Easton Towne Centre
Description
Nov 16 Update:
From Sharon, the Event Leader:
DUE TO ONE SHOW ONLY BEING PERFORMED THIS YEAR...
The Funnybone Comedy Club wanted to let the Ski Club members know that people (the general public) are ALREADY trying to get reservations.
THIS IS COLUMBUS' BEST COMEDY SHOW OF THE YEAR, EVERY YEAR and now everyone in the Columbus Metro area knows it. Everyone who hasn't been living under a rock also knows the CSC is ALWAYS "somehow" getting the bulk of the tickets.

The owner let the Ski Club know that we needed to give him a head count THIS THURSDAY MORNING (Nov 19th) after this Wednesday night's CSC meeting so he can open ticket sales up to the public.

Sharon will be at the meeting this Wednesday taking reservations and have asked others to help again this year. If you can help, come early to the meeting and volunteer.

The most important thing is PASS THE WORD ALONG that if people want to go to the benefit this year to PLEASE come to the meeting THIS Wednesday, CHECKS made out to the Funny Bone Comedy Club and make their reservations. I doubt if there will be ANY left by the December
meeting. Thanks for passing this along!
Price: $30 for dinner and the show, $10 for the show only
Participants: The Ski Club have been allocated up to 250 tickets with early sign-up. Probably no tickets available at the door.
