Membership Services
There are a number of Member Services committees that help support the events and activities of the Club. They are described here. Joining them is an excellent way to learn how the Club operates and to get involved immediately. If you want to volunteer,
contact the Chairpeople
in these areas and talk with them.
Membership
(Mbsp App Form)
The Membership Committee is responsible for processing the membership applications and generating membership lists for events and other purposes. It is also involved in welcoming new members to the Club.
Ho
spitality
The Hospitality Committee is responsible for welcoming prospective, new, and existing members to each meeting. They also assist other committees in helping to make their events successful. They help arrange event facilities, contact key people, help at the door, etc. This Committee is perfect for people who like to meet new people.
Public Relations
The Public Relations Committee is responsible for publicizing the Ski Club in the Columbus area. They place ads for the Club in various publications, work with other organizations to promote Ski Club functions, and are always ready to interact with the local media.
Programs
The Programs Committee is responsible for finding a location for meetings, creating the programs for the meetings, and working with other committees to promote their events.
Historian
The Historian for the Ski Club is responsible for chronicling the events and activities of the Ski Club through photography. There exist thousands of photos covering the past 50 years of the Club that are available upon request.
