CSC Tennis

CSC Tennis is the only Year-Round event offered by the club.  And we've been keeping it going for over twenty five years!

 

Tennis at this year's US Open is proclaimed as "the world's healthiest sport."  A study published by Mayo Clinic found tennis players live almost 10 years longer than people who are sedentary.  Get out and play...it's good for you!

We offer tennis both indoor and outdoor as is appropriate for the seasons ,

 
Summer Outdoor Tennis - DOUBLES  2025:

Summer Tennis  for 2025 has concluded.  Thanks to all of you who participated!

Fall Indoor Tennis - DOUBLES  2025:

We will officially move indoor October 24.  New this Fall register for tennis on a week-to-week basis and pay-as-you-go.  We will play doubles for 2 hours from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, Friday nights.  Cost is $20 per night payable to Elysium Indoor with credit card or cash.  Signups will be through the CSC Tennis Link below.  We will have two courts reserved.  Additional courts may be added if needed based on availability.   Final reservations must be confirmed by Wednesday 5:00 PM the week of.  Go to the Tennis Link to reserve your spot up to three weeks in advance.   Note:  If you reserve a spot you will be expected to pay or find a replacement to take your spot.    



After Friday night tennis plan to join us for drinks and/or dinner!

Play Details:

We will need a full complement of four player per court to maintain court reservation.

Play until a court completes a six game set.   All courts rotate at that time with winners up, losers down.  Partners switch.  Play may be regular scoring or NO-AD as decided by the event coordinator or designee.  In case of a tie score, play one more deciding point. 

Bring a can of NEW tennis balls to share  
         
At skill level of 2.5 the participant should:

• Understand basic tennis scoring
• Be comfortable with and understand some doubles strategy
• Be able to keep the ball in play during warm-up and in moderate social play

           
  We have a nice range of ability levels from 2.5 to 4.0. •
